 Hailing from the Midwest of the United States, born and raised in Minnesota, Brian earned a BS in Physics with Honors from Georgetown University and graduated early. Brian is currently working as a computational physics researcher with the Georgetown fluid mechanics group. He is an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boys Scout program of the America; some of the prominent figures who are Eagle Scout: Gerald R. Ford, Steven Spielberg, Michael Bloomberg, Neil A. Armstrong, Stephen Breyer, Robert Gates ... Brian speaks 3 languages, English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. He is TEFL certified with previous experience teaching in bilingual schools. An avid tennis player and AASI level 1 certified snowboard instructor, Brian is active in our athletics program and can be seen playing tennis with students and faculty around the campus. One of the most interesting facts about Brian: prior to his arrival to Hanoi, Vietnam, he worked as a organic farmer in Rishikesh, India. In Brian's words, "I love The Olympia Schools because of the exceptional community environment that it offers. The whole staff is truly happy, kind, inclusive, and supportive of each other. All the teachers are hardworking, dedicated, knowledgeable, and most importantly passionate. My first few months here have been simultaneously fun, challenging, busy and interesting.
