Painting for climate change: TOS to collectively raise awareness

On 26th August 2016, all of Olympia students have been participating in a collective outdoor painting festival to raise awareness of climate change and ozone depletion.

The event was initiated by Vietnam Ministry of Environment and Resources and sponsored by DAIKIN Air Conditioning Vietnam. Students were instructed to do their own investigation with regards to current situation of climate change, particularly impacts on ozone hole and global warming.

Education for sustainable development also remains TOS focus through the past year and on the years ahead, said Ms. Minh An, Olympia Highschool principal. Earlier during the orientation week, studens, teachers and staff have gathered together in a field trip to raise awareness of sustainability, climate action and social equalities.
